How to use Affirmation Cards for Kids?

• PICK A CARD IN THE MORNING- Start your day off right by setting a powerful intention with the help of your positive affirmation cards. Every morning, your child can pick a different card (there’s one for every day of the week!) and use it as a confidence boost for the day ahead.
• REPEAT DURING THE DAY- Place the daily affirmation card around the house where your children can see it, for example the bathroom mirror or fridge door. As you go about your day, repeat the affirmation and look for opportunities to embody the value. At difficult times throughout the day, you can remind your little ones of their morning intention as a way to help guide them back to positive values. Or maybe they’ll have to remind you ;)
• SELF-REFLECT AT BEDTIME- Unwind before bed by mindfully reflecting on your day and how it was shaped by the affirmation. Doing so improves self-awareness and further internalizes positive values. By checking in at bedtime, you’re also building personal accountability and increasing your child’s confidence in their ability to be true to their intentions.
• ENRICH PLAYTIME AND STORY TIME- Integrate the positive affirmation cards into other activities, such as watching TV, reading books, and playing make-believe. This way, children will learn to identify positive self-talk and empowering beliefs in a variety of contexts, as well as concretize their understanding of what these abstract principles mean in everyday life.
